Maggie & Seth were married in Naperville, IL on May 7. We spent quite a long day with them and captured some great moments and got to work in some amazing places. We always try to integrate ourselves into the day and become part of the hustle and bustle so we’re not in the way. Both Maggie and Seth made this very easy and were great to work with. Congratulations and thank you for letting us be a part of your day!
Holly and Matt were married on April 30th in Rock Falls / Tampico, IL. We made the trip out there expecting rain to come at some point throughout the day. Although it was extremely windy, the rain held off until the reception making for some perfect timing. Holly and Matt were both so calm and relaxed and it was great getting to spend some time just being around them as we captured the day. Holly’s father gave the Homily which made it especially personal for the two of them. Here is small bit from their special day.

I met Caroline and Ricky about 9 months ago and right away I knew that they were going to be a fun couple to work with. From the Save the Date video we shot through the entire wedding day, they had a blast and it really shows. It was great getting to know them and to be able to work with yet another amazing couple. Katie was so excited the whole day just to finally be getting married. They had one of the most amazing receptions that I’ve ever seen and it was a long, but amazing day!

Well it has been a crazy summer but it’s been filled with one amazing wedding after another. Rachel and Jason had a great day with perfect weather and a beautiful ceremony at Rivermont Collegiate. They were extremely fun and easy to work with and didn’t let the stress of they get to them at all.

Katy and Bill had a beautiful wedding day on June 26th. It was a bit on the hot side but everyone managed to get through it and still have a fun time! They were both all smiles, all day and everything went perfectly.

Justin and Kat were married in Mexico at the beginning of June and I was fortunate enough to be able to capture their special day. They had a beautiful wedding on the beach at the resort and although it was pretty hot and humid, it was a perfect day to get married. I had my share of technical issues dealing with the humidity, sand, wind, etc., but I was able to get some amazing footage. I spent some time focusing on the details and aspects of the location that we obviously don’t have anywhere around here and here’s a quick sneak peek of what I got.

Becky and Chris had a beautiful wedding on May 29th and got lucky enough to have one of the only sunny days we’ve seen in awhile. Becky has been a long time follower of the blog and has been anxiously awaiting the highlights from their wedding. Today I was notified that I was selected to be a featured speaker at the 2010 WEVA convention. WEVA (International Wedding and Event Videographers Association) is the biggest event / convention/ trade show in the wedding film industry so it is a huge honor to be chosen. I’m extremely excited to be able to share and teach people from all over the world. This year is also a landmark event for WEVA because it’s their 20th anniversary. The event is being held for a week at the Dolphin Disney World Resort in Orlando, so I’ll definitely have to check out a few parks while I’m there.

Andrea & A.J. were married on May 8th which had to be one of the windiest days I can remember and certainly the windiest wedding day I’ve ever had to deal with. Luckily there wasn’t much outside but a few photos. They were an awesome couple to work with and were so excited but very laid back at the same time.
