Emily & Greg were married in downtown Chicago on Saturday May 12th. Despite the on and off rain, everyone was extremely excited throughout the entire day. From an emotional morning to the most lively dance crowd we’ve seen in awhile, the day had it all and we were happy to be a part of the love that they share.
Mary Ella and Ben were married in downtown Chicago on September 24. There was sun and rain and more sun and more rain but it turned out to be a perfect day in the end. It was so fun working around these two as they were up for anything and just wanted to have fun. How often do you get to dance in the middle of an intersection in Chicago!!?? They also have my vote as best first dance of the year! Here are the highlights from their amazing day!

Corey & Doug were married in Chicago on October 22. They were a great couple to work with and I have to say, I like their style. Corey wore Nikes under her dress so she could actually be comfortable all day. Doug gets the props for the gift. He scrapbooked every date/event they have ever done together and also listed all of the details in order. Very impressive and probably the most thoughtful gift we’ve seen. Aubren & Eric were married on October 8th in Champaign, IL. It was a perfect fall day and nothing short of emotional. Everywhere we turned there were tears and laughter and beautiful story unfolding right in front of us. I’ll let them do the talking

Allison & Kody were married in Champaign, IL on August 6th. The day was the best of everything. Emotion, laughter, love and happiness that you only find with two people in love. Mara & Matt were married on July 2nd in the Quad Cities. It was a very laid back and relaxed day and they were both just fun to be around. The ceremony was at St. Pius in Rock Island and I knew the second I heard Father Schaab speak, I had to highlight that. Lindsey & Grant were married in the Quad Cities on June 25th. There were a lot of different emotions and excitement that generally comes with the wedding day, but these two were simply overjoyed that they were now going to be able to call each other husband and wife. They were amazing to work with and just another reason I truly love what I do!

Jessica & Craig were married on June 4th at the Davenport Country Club. They were such a great couple to work with and Jessica was so excited about having us there. We started at my second home for the summer, 5 star salon, and spent the rest of the day out at the country club for the outdoor wedding and amazing reception. The setup was quite stunning and even with a little rain early on, it turned out to be a perfect day!

Rachel & Bryan were married May 28th in Solon, IA…just outside of Iowa City. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Celebration Barn which made a great setting for the day. It was an emotionally charged day, and that, coupled with the fact that Rachel and Bryan were high school sweethearts, made it evident that these two were meant for each other. Ashley & Ben were married in the Quad Cities on May 14. They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck. If the saying holds true, Ashley & Ben are going to have plenty of good luck. They didn’t let the rain take away from their day and were both so happy and excited to be marrying one another.
